A rare complete early printing of the U.S. Constitution, along with the Resolution of the Constitutional Convention recommending that it be laid before Congress, and the Conventions letter to Congress transmitting the Constitution to them, measuring 7.25" x 11.25", attractively printed on clean laid period paper in a variety of font sizes. It concludes with a printing of the Resolution of Congress, dated Sept. 28, 1787, to transmit the Constitution, "to the several Legislatures, in order to be submitted to a Convention of Delegates chosen in each State by the people thereof, in conformity to the Resolves of the Convention made and provided in that Case", also Signed in type by Charles Thomson, as Secretary of the United States Congress.
