1840 General Washington & General Zachary Taylor Bottle

c. 1840-1850, Washington and Gen. Zachary Taylor Portraits Glass Bottle, Green-aqua, Extremely Fine.

This pale green-aqua historical bottle measures 7” tall x 5” wide x 2” thick. No maker’s name or markings. One side has a bust of George Washington with his name above; the other side has a bust of Zachary Taylor, with his name above. This bottle was likely made for Taylor’s Presidential Campaign in 1848 or following his death in 1850.
