Late 18th to Early 19th Century Original Needlework Art on Silk of a Standing Young Boy’s Portrait Picture, Framed

Late 18th to Early 19th Century, Needlework on Silk, Standing Portrait Picture of a Young Boy, Framed, Very Fine.

This fine original Needlework Artwork Picture of a Young Boys Standing Portrait on off-white fine Silk. It measures about 11.75” x 12.75” (by sight), framed to fully 14.5” x 15.75” overall in a decorative gold gilt frame, with some small chips lacking in the frames intricate design. Imperfections and a fine split to silk between the Boy and the tree to his right measures about 1.5” long and a .5” piece of silk lacking at the top left edge. There is significant intricate details to the floral surround, and the house displayed in the background. With flowers held above his head and carrying a walking stick with his other hand, this barefoot boy heads home.
