Five Historical Blue Staffordshire “Peace and Plenty” Plates

c. 1820, Set of Five Historical Blue Staffordshire “PEACE / PLENTY” with an American Eagle Plates, Choice Extremely Fine.

Each of these Five lovely deep blue Plates measures 9” in diameter. Each with a floral pattern with central image of a male Native American Indian figure holding a sickle and basket of bountiful fruit shown standing next to an American Eagle with a Heraldic Shield and the words “PEACE / PLENTY” at top and bottom. Back is impressed reading, “Clews Warranted Staffordshire” around a British Royal Crown. A richly decorative set of five American theme plates in very nice condition. (5 plates).
