The Stars and Stripes Forever March Music Sheet Cover with Its Musical Quotation Signed “John Philip Souza 1902”

JOHN PHILIP SOUSA (1854-1932). American Marine Corps Bandmaster and Composer, known as the "March King" and gained his greatest fame as a band leader and composer of marches; especially "Stars and Stripes Forever," which was designated in 1987 as the National March of the United States. Sousa composed the official song of the Marine Corps, "Semper Fidelis" at the request of President Chester A. Arthur.

Display framed Printed Portrait Image of Sousa on the cover illustration of his Sheet Music with Sousa shown at he upper left corner. with large Bold Text, “THE STARS AND STRIPES FOREVER! Inset below is Autographed “John Philip Sousa 1902” on card with the opening measures of its music, dated 1902. The sheet music cover has tears in the margin at the left side, the signature card is choice crisp mint with nice eye appeal. Framed in a modern black wood to fully to 22.75” x 16.25” displayed under special UV Plexiglas. The music sheet above the signature musical quotation measures 13.5” x 10.5” (by sight), and the card is 2” x 4” custom matted.
