c. 1930, Patriotic American Colorful Hooked-Wool on Burlap with Historic Scene Depicting Pocahontas, John Smith, and Powhatan, Extremely Fine.

This colorful Folk Art style Patriotic hooked-wool measures about 7" x 27" long, depicting Pocahontas in yellow and white wrap and white head feather, reaching out to a kneeling John Smith with white shirt and red chest area, yellow hair and beard, while a tall Indian Chief Powhatan in red and black robe and white headdress gestures toward them. In the background is a deeply wooded venue, trees, green, blue, and brown threads, with dark blue and green end borders.
