Manufacturer’s Original William McKinley Set of Cast Iron Molds to Create Three Busts of the 25th President Wearing His Suit, likely a Unique Mated Pair, Choice Extremely Fine.

When fitted together this Pair of Cast Iron Molds to create three Busts, are individually numbered “2 /5 /9” and has a length of 6" with a height of 2.5", and depth of 1.75" (likely for creating brass busts). The molds were possibly created for production as either a 1897 Presidential Campaign Political Promotion or as a Memorial commemoration after President William McKinley’s Assassination in 1901. This mated pair of Cast Iron Molds are two-piece, and features Three Busts of "McKinley" wearing his suit. One half of the mold bears the exacting details of McKinley's facial features, while the other half forms the back of his head and shoulders. Excellent solid condition, having only slight wear with some trivial white transfer within the back half portion. Overall, still usable and in nice condition and would serve as a highly unique William McKinley tribute display.

William McKinley was the 25th President of the United States, serving from 1897 until his assassination in 1901, after leading the nation to victory in the Spanish-American War and raising protective tariffs to promote American industry. As a politician he led a realignment that made his Republican Party largely dominant in the industrial states and nationwide until the 1930s.
