c 1860 Unused Covers Columbus, Revolution, Temperance
Lot includes: (3) Different Patriotic Covers (Columbus and Revolutionary War) plus "Sons of Temperance," All are Unused, Near Mint.
This lot consists of:

1. Postal Cover showing Columbus (judging from his clothing) holding a flag labeled "Excelsior," with a waterfall in the background, measuring 3" x 5.5," in excellent condition.

2. Postal Cover measuring 3.25" x 5.75" showing a Revolutionary War Soldier, advancing with fixed bayonet, in front of an American flag. This cover has old mounting remnants on the back.

3. A Postal Cover measuring 3" x 5.5" printed in black on yellow paper, which shows a Star inside of a triangle with rays in the background, below which is printed, "Sons Of Temperance." The Sons of Temperance was an Anti-liquor society organized in 1842. This cover is missing its back flap, has some light mounting remnants on the back, and otherwise is in great shape.
