1897, "GEORGE WASHINGTON" Engraved Print by Albert Rosenthal, After a Miniature by Charles Willson Peale, Printed by E. Opitz, Philadelphia, PA, Choice Extremely Fine+.

Oval bust of George Washington in his uniform, uncolored, measuring 3" x 2.25" Die Proof on a large sheet measuring 14" x 11", After a 1785 miniature by Peale. The original Peale example is currently in the possession of the Long Island Historical Society. Penciled notations by Rosenthal read: "No. 12" and "H. 60". A listing of 20 Subscribers is printed upon a tissue overlay in the lower left corner of the large sheet.
