This nice original Carte de Visite measures 2.5" x 4", shows Queen Victoria standing, wearing a dress with her hands folded in front. Text below image reads, "MAYALL, 224, Regent Street." Backstamp reads, "Photographed from Life by MAYALL, 224, Regent Street, LONDON. / Published (wholesale only) by Messrs. A. Marion & Co., 23, Soho Square." The upper corners have been slightly clipped to fit in a prior album display page, clean and crisp overall. Scarce.
