Original Reverse Hand-painted on glass, artist William Matthew Prior (1806-1873) Attributed, Portrait Painting of President Abraham Lincoln. Hand-painted when President Lincoln was still in office, this painting measures 20" x 24.5". Some portions of the painted background, around President Lincoln are lacking with some paint missing on his forehead and below his right eye. The rest of this painting of the President is solid and not flaking. There are no other problems or any repairs and this painting comes in its original 24.5" x 29" period walnut wood frame. |
