c. 1960, TWO (2) Vintage "Modernist" Illustration Artwork Print Posters, Choice Extremely Fine.

These Two very colorful and interesting Decorative "Modernist" Posters include:

1. "jazzways" Cover Illustration Artwork Print for "A year book of hot music - One dollar" measuring 12" x 10", by "Paul Rand." Paul Rand (born Peretz Rosenbaum; August 15, 1914 " November 26, 1996) was an American art director and graphic designer, best known for his corporate logo designs, including the logos for IBM, UPS, Enron, Morningstar, Inc., Westinghouse, ABC, and NeXT. He was one of the first American commercial artists to embrace and practice the Swiss Style of graphic design. Rand was a professor emeritus of graphic design at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut from 1956 to 1969, and from 1974 to 1985. He was inducted into the New York Art Directors Club Hall of Fame in 1972. A bright, vivid and a highly abstract, colorfully-designed rendering.

2. Poster, for ANTHONY KLINE, "Distinguished Contribution" design for Army Pictorial Center award to Anthony Kline, writer for "Ground Surveillance Radar" - "Best Film of the Year, measuring 20" x 11.5", Technical Category, 1962." Metallic-gold color, offset by cream print and graphics, small crease in upper left corner.

Both very nice examples of the era. (2 Posters).
