This original print measures 7.5" x 4.5" being a Plate or Frontispiece from a period British magazine. Francois Felix de Crillon (1748 - 1820), was a French Politician who in 1788, acquired the palace where, in 1778, the official signing of the first Treaties between the newly-founded United States and France took place. This building is now known as the Hotel de Crillon, one of France's oldest luxury hotels. A beautiful, exceptional quality, engraved portrait of French Politician De Crillon. |
