This rare 1720 Colonial Deed and Map measures about 9.25" x 12", 1 page, docket on back. Being a Land Survey for 27 acres in Northumberland County, Virginia for William Sutton. After his death, "John Sutton his brot. presents this Survey & desires a Grant", John Coppedge, County Surveyor, who signs on the back, "Deed Granted". Some folds, with minor intersection splits old fold reinforcements on the reverse. Beautifully written with the plot survey drawn at top. Scarce. |
