Headed, "The Record of The Family" early original decorative Handwritten Family Record in sepia and red ink with various ornate geometric borders and calligraphic flourishes, central "bird" illustration design above columns for Names, dates of Birth, Marriage and Death which range from 1728 thru 1771. All individuals listed having the "Humphry" family last name and the following first names: Benajah, Carolina, Benajah, Ozias, Amaziah, Carolina, Hephzibah, Dorcas.

This Record measures about 12" x 14.75" and is on fine quality watermarked laid period paper. Fold wear and some age tone, closed tears and small intersection wear holes along fold lines partially reinforced on the reverse side with archival tape. Born in Simsbury, Hartford, Connecticut on 1739. Caroline married Sylvanus Case and had a child. Caroline married Benajah Humphrey and had 6 children. She passed away on January 19, 1771 in Simsbury, Connecticut as so recorded. Overall, its colors and designs remain quite strong and fully readable, displaying pleasing Colonial American "Folk Art" style designs. Suitable for framing and display.
