JOHN D. ROCKEFELLER (1839-1937). Industrialist, Founder of the Standard Oil Company; one of the wealthiest individuals in modern history and is often considered the richest person in history; The company grew to dominate the oil refining and distribution industry in the United States.

HENRY M. FLAGLER (1830-1913). Industrialist, Co-founder of Standard Oil, railroad magnate, real estate developer; a key figure in the development of Florida's Atlantic coast. He was instrumental in the development of the state's tourism industry, founding the Florida East Coast Railway; a a key figure in the development of Florida's Atlantic coast; Both Rockefeller and Flagler were titans of American industry.


Samuel B. Webb Twice Signed Revolutionary War Certification & Pay Order for Connecticut Jonathan Miller

SAMUEL BLACHLEY WEBB (1753-1807). Webb attended the First Continental Congress representing Connecticut, there, Webb was first introduced to General George Washington; American Revolution Officer and an Aide to General George Washington; later Webb was commissioned Brigadier General Continental Army; was one of the last Patriots fighting at Bunker Hill; later acting in the Siege of Boston; and later building fortifications at New York; At the Battle of Trenton, Webb crossed the Delaware River in the same boat as George Washington in Crossing of the Delaware River; Webb was wounded three times while in his Continental Army military service; a Founding Member of the Society of the Cincinnati, and officiated Washington’s first Presidential Inauguration.
