1864-Dated Civil War Period, Black History & Slavery Related Engraved Print titled: “YOUR PLAN - AND - MINE.” by Currier & Ives, New York, Including Abraham Lincoln, Jeff Davis & General McClellan, measuring 9.75” tall x 14.5” wide (by sight), Framed, Choice Extremely Fine. “Your Plan and Mine” is a satirical and politically charged print that depicts two contrasting scenes side by side. It depicts, At left CSA president Jefferson Davis has captured an African American Union Soldier that he intends to return to Slavery, Union Major General George McClellan offers an olive branch to Davis, permitting his action and begs for the South's return to the Union. At right president Abraham Lincoln holds Jeff Davis at the end of a bayonet and demanding Unconditional Surrender and that Emancipated Slaves not be returned to Slavery, as an armed Black Union soldier in uniform gives his comment.
