c. 1777 Rare Engraved Print with Hand-Colored American Hero Portraits including: George Washington, General Gates, Benjamin Franklin, (Continental Congress) President Henry Laurens and John Paul Jones, Very Fine This rare Revolutionary War Period Engraved Hand-Colored Print, measures 3.75" x 2.5" and features Portraits of Five Heroic Patriot Leaders for the American cause, with a numbered key at bottom identifying them: "1. General Washington. 2. General Gates. 3. Dr. Franklin. 4.Presid. Laurens. 5. Paul Jones." Dates from c. 1777, as Henry Laurens was President of the Continental Congress, 1777-1778.
