June 21, 1862-Dated Rare Partially-Printed, Washington to “VIRGINIA” Civil War Union Pass, Issued by the Provost Marshal's Office, Signed by Lt. J.S. Copley, Fine. This scarce Civil War Union Pass was issued by the Washington Provost Marshal's Office on June 21, 1862 to expire the next day on June 22nd, signed by Lt. J.S. Copley. The pass allows permission to pass to and from Virginia. Overall, backed with later paper, face is well printed with some expected light age and wear from actual use, yet still in clearly readable good condition as shown. |
