Struck in the rare “Middle” or “Second” size, it displays on the Obverse: Civil Bust Portrait facing right, being a variant of the John Adams Inaugural Medal. Reverse: Die of 1846 with Clasp Hands and crossed Peace Pipe over a Tomahawk. This example having rich natural deep mahogany-brown original color. The obverse surfaces are pleasing and glossy. It has a faint hint of collector cabinet friction on the highest obverse points plus a few tiny scattered obverse rim bumps.
