1868-Dated, Book titled, "The Inner Life of Abraham Lincoln, Six Months at the White House" by F.B. Carpenter, published by Hurd and Houghton, New York, Very Fine.

This is a scarce edition of, “The Inner Life of Abraham Lincoln, Six Months at the White House,” Hardcover, bound in pebbled faux leather, lightly sunned on the spine. This contemporary Book measures 7” x 5” and contains 354 pages plus an index. The condition is nice with wear commensurate with age to the covers, yet quite acceptable. This entertaining look at the life of Abe Lincoln during his Presidency that has been published continuously since 1867 due to its popularity after his Assassination. Of particular note are the anecdotes of William Seward and Lincoln’s son Tad, in Memorial, following the beloved Presidents Assassination.
