The first made to Mr. William Lewis, boldly Signed by “Peter Colt” as Treasurer, bright crisp Extremely Fine with fine cut cancel, blank reverse, notation “Interest (paid) to Nov 30th 1794...”. The second Treasury Certificate is made to Mr. Martin Clarke, Signed by “J(ohn) Lawrence” as Treasurer, boldly noted on the verso with Interest payments made, splitting along the horizontal centerfold, otherwise Very Fine.
