This 17th century or later Iron Short Sword or Pole Arm Blade weapon measures about 16.5” long overall with a 11.5” single edge weapon use blade. Maker’s mark of a “Crown” over a “Heart” located near the tip of the blade. The sword head has a contiguous socket for pole attachment allowing this blade to be used either by hand as a short sword, or attached to a long pole. Natural rich silver-gray deep patina adds eye appeal for display. |
