Pleasing and Colorful Star Pattern Hooked-Wool Rug

Colorful Hooked-Wool Rug with Star Pattern, Choice Extremely Fine.

A lovely Hooked-Wool Rug made in orange, red, yellow, black and tan yarns with stars set in an oval floral design, with striped border, measuring 12.5" x 18". Likely made during the second quarter of the 20th century, this small mat also has a brown, green, red and yellow threaded fabric bottom with neat needle-point stitching. Overall, very attractive and representative of wonderful, quaint textiles of the era.
