RI-245 G28, W-RI-790-010-G100, Durand 966. This is the Haxby Plate Note. Exceedingly Rare Considered Unique Draper, Toppan, Longacre & Co. India Paper Proof. It was in a museum collection until 1996, the CSM Collection; R.M. Smythe's Schingoethe Collection Part 7 Sale, July 11, 2006, lot 1746 where it realized $977.50. Top center, the Bank view shows excellent details inside the arcade with wonderful Portraits in all corners of notable founders, notably including Lafayette and Benjamin Franklin. PMG holder states previously mounted, having only traces seen on the blank reverse corners. Appears under-graded, as there are no folds and appears vibrant, overall boldly printed and exceedingly rare or possibly unique. Whitman catalog value = $750 in Proof for the bank.
