1847-Dated, Second Edition Book titled, “American Historical and Literary Curiosities”, by J.J. Smith and J.F. Watson, assisted by an association of American antiquarians, Philadelphia, Very Good.

This scarce Hardcover American History Book measuring about 10.5” x 13.75”, with 67 pages, complete. Original full pebbled morocco, with decorative embossed gold gilt lettering on covers. Contains facsimiles of important early American historical letters and documents from Colonial Era, to Revolutionary War period, and early United States national history. Letters written included are by George Washington, John Hancock, Thomas Jefferson, and many other notable individuals. Some loose pages, scattered moderate to heavy water stains, and overall scattered foxing. A useful reference regardless of condition, with truly exciting images throughout of wonderful interest for early American history enthusiasts.
