Fr. GA-124. This important Revolutionary War Georgia note is printed on bright crisp fresh white laid period paper in red and black. It has a bold vivid blue-green “Dove and Sword” vignette Seal with a large fancy script style “GEORGIA” within the left margin block. These Bills of Credit were funded “out of the Monies arising from the Sales of forfeited (British Tory) Estates.” This example is perfectly centered on both face and back within four very large margins. Fully signed, its five brown ink signatures of Charles Kent; Richard Wylly; William Maxwell; William O’Bryen and Nehemiah Wade.
