16th Century Hand-Wrought Iron War Axe with Its Handle Bearing Four Clearly Seen Maker’s Marks

16th Century Hand-Wrought Iron “War Axe” with Wooden Handle, bearing four clear Maker’s Marks, Choice Very Fine.

This fearsome looking 16th century War Axe measures about 15 inches long including its wooden handle. The Wrought-Iron Blade measures about 7” long and 5.5” wide. The Iron surfaces are naturally darkened with patina from age with a nicely shaped blade and displays , with four impressive clear maker's marks on one side.
