Dolores Hackenberger Signed (American born 1930), Original “Folk Art” Oil Painting on Canvas Mounted to Board, the scene depicting an "Amish" Pennsylvania Dutch Schoolhouse at recess with the children at play, measuring 7.5” x 15.5” (by Sight), Choice Extremely Fine.



This delightful vibrant colorful Painting shows no apparent damage and retains its bright attractive colors. The people are dressed similar to the Pennsylvania Dutch of Lancaster County, particularly those associated with traditional Anabaptist denominations, are commonly referred to as "Amish" or "Old Order Mennonites." This is a Fall time of year, the trees having golden-red leaves with some shown scattered on the ground. Framed in simple raw pine wood to fully 11” x 19.25” being a lovely theme and ready to hang on display.
