1906-Dated, San Francisco Earthquake, Souvenir Photograph Booklet by Shreve & Company, Extremely Rare, the 4th Copy Confirmed Known, Extremely Fine.

The San Francisco Earthquake aftermath is documented in this 1906 Photo Booklet. It measures about 3” x 5.75” with 12 pages, published by Shreve & Company. In overall excellent condition with slight corner nick to the front upper right wrapper. Illustrated from reprinted original black and white photographs of the devastation, in sewn printed card wrappers. A promotional pamphlet, with various Photographs of San Francisco after the historic earthquake and subsequent fires, most images also relating to the damages and scenes from Shreve & Company. OCLC locates only Three Copies held at; University of California Berkeley, Southern Methodist University, and Hagley Museum and Library. This current example is the 4th Confirmed Known and possibly the finest available held in private hands and available for collectors. Exceedingly Rare.
