c. 1960, Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address Printed on Modern Muslin Cotton Fabric, measuring 21.5” x 15.5”, featuring a large Portrait of Abraham Lincoln, Choice Very Fine.
An unusual rendering of what is arguably one of the most famous speeches in American history. Measuring about 21.5” x 15.5” and featuring a large portrait of Abraham Lincoln inside a 7.5” x 6” oval, flanked on either side by Union and Confederate flags. The entire Gettysburg Address appears in Lincoln’s facsimile, cursive writing beneath the portrait, dated in its design as the original “November 19, 1863”. The woven cloth is finished along all edges and hemmed at top and bottom. There are no holes in the cotton cloth, but there are some toning spots scattered about, some of which affect the portrait. An interesting historic presentation, ready for possible framing and display. |
