1. “Speech of the Hon. Robert B. Hall, of Massachusetts.” March 27, 1858, measures 9.5” x 6”, 8 pages complete, Slavery related and;
2. “Report of the Select Committee, Made in the Senate of Pennsylvania, Upon the Admission of Kansas, February 24, 1858” which measures 8.75” x 5.75”, 6 pages complete, Slavery related regarding the pro and con of allowing Kansas to become a Member State of the United States.
Each Imprint show some expected light even ton and is complete. Both are debates concerning the Admission of Kansas as a State, and the proper process that must be met first. These include; a new Constitution, and the formation of a Territorial Legislature. Giving the dates that these conditions be fulfilled... the men who want the Territory to be on “Slave Soil,” and those who want the Territory as a “Free Soil” state. Condition of each is both quite nice. Both scarce as these two titles apparently are not listed on any book search database. (2 items). |
