The Constitution itself is printed on pages 5-20, with its signatories listed on pages 19-22. In addition to being an important historic record, this book is also an interesting collection of the key legislative matters facing the new Republic, and the role played by the first Speaker of the House, Frederick Augustus Muhlenberg; the first Vice President and President of the Senate John Adams, and the first President, George Washington.
