c. 1780-1800, GEORGE WASHINGTON Portrait Pinback Brooch, High-relief red Milkglass Engraved Portrait with a decorative Brass Surround, its original Pin fully Intact, Choice Extremely Fine.

An exceptional high quality oval George Washington Portrait in high-relief milkglass measures about .75” tall x .5” wide with integral pattern fields on a raised surround. Housed in an ornate brass bezel with floral outer decorations. The reverse is completely intact with all of its full pinback elements, complete. The central portrait is after a classic engraving of Washington. This impressive period example is defect-free and of highly attractive museum quality for display.
