c. 1840, Staffordshire Transfer-Printed “ARMS OF THE STATES” American Historical and Patriotic Six-Sided White Ceramic “IRONSTONE” Pitcher with Colorful State Seal Medallion Transfers, Very Fine.

This colorful historical theme Pitcher featuring transfer polychrome enamel images depicting 12 State's Coat of Arms including New York, Delaware, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, 3 being inside at top. Pitcher measures about 7.75” tall including the upwards raised spout, and 8.5” wide with handle and 6.75” deep as shown with only modest rim edge and base wear. England, 1834-1851.
