c. 1890 “EX LIBRIS” Bookplate of Enrico Caruso Engraved by Arthur N. Macdonald, Choice Crisp Extremely Fine.

Enrico Caruso (1873-1921), the famous, celebrated Operatic Tenor, possibly the greatest of all time. His scarce printed Bookplate, Engraved c. 1890 by Arthur H. Macdonald (1866-1940), after a design by the 18th century engraver Hubert F. Gravelot. It measures about 2.5" x 4.25" on wove period paper having fully wide original margins, tipped to card stock for display.
