Colony of Rhode Island. January 15, 1776. Twenty Shillings. PCGS graded Extremely Fine-40.
Fr. RI-226. A quality example of this rare January 1776 issue, very clean and pleasing having sharply printed black text. There is a deft small sealed split at left as appearent noted on its holder. The red and brown ink signatures include; John G. Wanton, John Cole and James Congdon III. The serial number 4292 remains clear and easily readable.
