1863 Civil War Letter Regarding Abraham Lincolns Politics
January 28, 1863-Dated Civil War Period, Manuscript Letter Discussing Abraham Lincoln and Politics, Very Fine.
This original Manuscript Letter measures 9.75" x 7.75" with 1 page, dated from Sandusky, Ohio. Boldly written in deep brown, one short edge tear, clean and folded for mailing. It contains the author's feelings on Abraham Lincoln and the War. This historic Letter reads, in part:

"One thing I know, I have done as much, in proportion to my means, to sustain this war, as anyone who has not gone himself. But for Abe Lincoln, forced as he was upon the country by Shoddy ... Traitors and office holders, I would not vote to save my life, and that is all I have to say."
